Charleston Screening at The Terrace

A panel discussion featuring The Burden producer/director Roger Sorkin via Skype, former Congressman Bob Inglis, and South Carolina climate issue experts follows the screening. Discussion continues at a dessert reception.

Climate change concerns us all, but it is of special concern to the military. In The Burden, Gen. Zinni (USMC ret'd) comments that you can see the effects of climate change on national security. Because of its immense size and command of the federal budget, the military is THE institution in the world best suited to jumpstart a 21st century clean energy economy.

" these are not Republican or Democrat or left or right problems; they are America’s problems to solve…"  --Ret. Lt. Gen. Norm Seip • Air Force
