Last Chance - Bring The Burden To Life

We're fast approaching the final days of The Burden's Kickstarter campaign, and we're asking you to please dig deep to help us reach our goal. If we don't meet the goal by next week, we don't receive any funds, you don't receive any perks, and the release of The Burden will be delayed indefinitely.  I know ending America's fossil fuel addiction is an important message for each of you, so please help us today because this project is too big to fail!

Momentum is building, especially since The Burden was just featured in The Huffington Post. It's working! Your support is raising awareness for the film, and sending the message far and wide about why it's so important that we reach our fundraising goal. A huge thank you to all our donors who have already pledged to the campaign, now listed on our Donors page. Haven't given yet, why wait? The time is now, and we would love to add your name to this list of dedicated supporters

Here's how you can help:

  • Visit our Kickstarter page and make a contribution today
  • Team up, and ask a friend to match your contribution
  • Forward this email to five friends today, and ask them to join you in supporting The Burden
  • Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and share and retweet our posts
  • Send us your story...

That's right - we want to add your voice to The Burden's campaign. Our short video update this week features more interviews from the Truman Project conference two weeks ago, the stories of real men and women in our armed forces whose lives were put in real danger by our fossil fuel dependence, and who understand better than anyone how that dependence is the greatest threat we face to our national and global security.

We know you have personal stories about why you care so much about bringing a clean energy economy to life, and we would love to hear and share them. Feel free to shoot a short video with your smartphone (1 minute is ideal, no more than 2 minutes), post it to YouTube or Vimeo, then visit the Submit Your Story page on our website. We can't wait to hear from you!

In the meantime, check out this week's short video update on our Kickstarter page, and please help us reach our goal in the final days of the campaign:
